Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and, occasionally, host SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. The daughter of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been bilingual since when she was nine years old. This ability helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her parents divorced soon after in 1995. Her mother was remarried to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in 2006. She resided at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, which was the time she received an opportunity to work. Antonietta, a high-school senior having a clear idea of where she envisioned her future career would be, decided to visit Mount Union University to see if the school suited her. The result was that she loved the school and they had the program she wanted. When she finished her high-school studies, she entered the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and was also the director of WRMU in which she's a participant. They developed a close friendship. Professor Mark Bergmann influenced her by his passion for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
